Christiano Ronaldo Signs For Al-Nassr In $214 Million
Former Manchester United forward player Christiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year deal with Saudi's club Al-Nassr after manchester united terminated his contract.
The Portuguese star player left Manchester United because of an interview in which the forward said he felt betrayed by Old Trafford club and did not respect their dutch manager Erik ten Hag.
In another interview, Christiano Ronaldo said that "I am eager to experience a new football league in a different country. He praised the Al-Nassr club and said that the Al-Nassr club's vision is very inspiring.
WHO ARE AL-NASSR?
The al-Nassr club was formed in 1955, and they are based in Saudi's capital Riyadh.The al-Nassr club play in Saudi's top division league-the Saudi Professional League (SPL). Which has a total of 18 teams. If we see their previous year's record they finished third last season. Although they are the second-most successful team with a total of nine titles. Portuguese football expert Pedro Sepulveda says Christiano Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr is the price of forcing his exit from Manchester United and thinks the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has tainted his legacy. He praised Ronaldo and said that he was probably the best Portuguese player ever in the history of football. He also said that people didn't think they would see him playing for a side like Al-Nassr.
